We are looking to employ a driven and detail-oriented business development officer to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase company sales. The business development officer's responsibilities include identifying company products and services that are underperforming, developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and policies, and improving existing sales proposals. You should also ensure that the company is able to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

Senior Architect

We are looking for a creative and inspired architect to handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction.

Responsibilities

The architect's responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, budgets, construction documents, and managing project teams. You should be able to take ownership of your project, be it the design and construction of a new building, an extension, alterations or a restoration project, and deliver on the client's requirements.

  • Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirements.
  • Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
  • Developing and presenting project proposals.
  • Adjusting designs and plans to meet the client's needs.
  • Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
  • Complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.
  • Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Managing project teams and collaborating with other construction professionals.
Requirements

To be successful in this position you should be able to visualize space in three dimensions, have a good understanding of construction technologies, and be an effective project manager. An outstanding Architect will have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate superior technical design skills and be able to create designs that are functional, creative, and sustainable.

  • Degree in architecture or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an Architect preferred.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.

Interior Designer

We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidate with good interpersonal skills for the position of an interior designer.

Good interior designers are able to think creatively about the use of space, color and movement and will draw on other artistic mediums for creative inspiration. They will also be effective communicators with the ability to persuade in communicating a design idea.

Responsibilities

The interior designer's key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met.

You will also be expected to comply with the UAE's regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.

  • Outline client design objectives.
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans.
  • Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
  • Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
  • Source materials and products included in plans.
  • Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
  • Utilize computer applications in the design process.
  • Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
